Jeanne take a break from setting up camp and we get to see the boat the brought us, our car and our gear over to the island.
We also brought along our bikes so we could take rides around the island. Fortunately, Jeanne is an "old hand" at camping so it is not long before the tent is up and the grill is just about ready.
My little rabbit holds all our gear and the bikes on the back.
Jeanne has a campground site just south of Columbus and she and I work on getting it in tip-top shape. Jeanne has spent quite a bit of time down here with her kids, Larry, Sherrie, and Terry. Larry even lived here while going to college.
Jeanne and her kids have put a lot of work into the campsite and we continue on with the improvements. New stepping stones go to the front door and fresh gravel is put down. Chris, like everyone, has to leave their shoes outside before entering the camper.
David fills up the wheel barrow with gravel - man there is a lot of it! Chris and the next door neighbor kid, Rob, relax at the Lost Hollow pool.
With a mighty splash, Chris manages to hit the tube. Jeanne and I get a break from work and take a walk through the woods at Lost Hollow.
