While in Albuquerque I drove over to where the old town is located. Most of it has been destroyed but this old church remains
Late in the weekend day I get out to the University of New Mexico golf course which is a highly rated public course
Jeanne and some friends start the Columbus Miniature Show. Her grandchildren stop by and get their pictures taken with some of her creations. First Holly and TJ.
Then Tammy and Amanda.
One of the best things to happen to Jeanne and I was the day I came home and saw a poor little cat in the sewer in front of your house. I tried to get close but he ran down into the sewer. Then next day I came home and again the cat was by the sewer. This time when I called to him he came over. I picked him up, took him inside and from that day in 1987 Sam was with us until he died in 2003. There was no better cat or companion in all the world than Sam. We miss him terribly and thes photographs help us always remember him.You can see his scrapbook and read all about him here. It is Christmas and of course he gets his presents.
We are sure this is his first Christmas so we expected him to be a bit taken back by the presents. He is fun to have around and seems to really enjoy living with us. This will be a long and loving relationship and we guard him as if he were a child of ours.
