Another Christmas and Sam enjoys hiding under the Christmas tree. The grandkids look on as Jeanne opens another present.
Terry has made Jeanne this wonderful corner shelve for our kitchen. Here I am pounding away on the Apple II computer working on Jeanne's Date Club programs.
Another visit to Michigan to visit my parents. Then Jeanne and I make a ski trip to Banff, Canada where we find the weather extremely cold, below zero. We arrive in Calgray and pick up our rental car. It is very small, a Flyfly I believe. We barely can fit all the stuff in side and us too. It is so cold here that all the cars have electrical cords that you must connect at night to keep the oil from freezing.
The drive to Banff is great but cold. The heater barely keeps us warm. The ski conditions are fine but the slope are, well, not that good. It drops to -40F, which is also -40C, and after two days we pack up, get your plane reservations changed and head to home. When we get there the temperature in Columbus is 100 degrees warmer than Banff!!!
In the spring we take a short trip to Myrtle Beach so Sam can see the ocean. On one of our walks Sam stops, digs a hole, crouches to pee and a small wave rolls over him! Boy, was he surprised! We have to head back to the camper and wash the salt water off him.
I can't remember the name or location of this waterfall but it is a state park, perhaps in Tennessee. Anyway, we hook up Sam to his leash and head down to the bottom of the falls. Sam makes it all the way down and back up.
Then Sam takes me across as suspension bridge which I really don't want to do as I don't like heights. But we both make it. The falls are super and I hope to find out where it is shortly.
