This ship I believe is the ship I left Puerto Rico on in late 1955 as I was being transfered to Fort Leavenworth, KS, where I would be a company clerk again to finish out my two years in the Army.
Other views of the ship and from the ship and the passengers look over the rail at the sea and the last of the island.
Life is pretty boring on the trip back unless you were "lucky" like me and go to work in the galley.

I believe this was the Puerto Rico camp I left from as it sure doesn't look like the place we landed, Fort Hamilton, Brooklyn, N.Y.
