JEANNE AND I - BOOK 1, PAGE 7

A large Christmas party at our home on Greensboro Court, Columbus. After a "mad house" will all the kids opening their presents, the adults opening theirs, Jeanne is glad when everyone leaves so she can get a bit of rest. We both enjoy having everyone over but after several hours everyone is tired.

Janet, Larry's wife, holds up a dish to her china she receive for Christmas while Jeanne hands out multiple presents to the kids.

It is amazing how many presents there were under the tree this year. It seems like each year the pile grows larger. But with three sets of parents and lots of grandkids, the pile will get even larger in the next couple of years.

These ski photos, I believe, are at Copper Mountain, Colorado, which is about half way from Denver to Aspen. We decided to try it and it was very nice. We had a condo very close to one of the lifts so getting up was easy and stopping for lunch was really easy.

I am not sure how we got the picture of us together, perhaps a kind skier came along. I do make a decent turn going down a medium steep run.

These are some of the "condos" at Copper, all very nice. I believe we had a ground level room and really enjoyed the skiing that year.

Jeanne really likes to take me on the steep runs. I think she enjoys seeing me scared! The photo on the right is part of the Glenwood Canyon just before Glenwood Springs where we turn south for Aspen and Snowmass. The road is on one side of the river and the railroad on the other.
