Someone, maybe on of the grandgirls, is having a birthday party. From the looks of the background it could be in Bexley. Holly is trying to use the Apple computer at our home in Columbus.
It is the winter of 1983 and Jeanne and I go to Copper Mountain, Colorado for a ski trip. We had been to Aspen and wanted to try a different place. Copper is a rather nice, but small mountain compared to Aspen and Snowmass.
The slopes are not too bad and Jeanne can only get me on the "blue trails", the ones the really good skiiers go on. The scenery is really nice and we both enjoy the views, the condo so very close to the lifes, and the town.
In the summer we drive to Florida to see Jeanne's mother and her sisters. I manage to talk Jeanne into going sailing although she is not absolutley sure I know what I am doing. There is lots to do at her sister Annie's as the beach is close.
We take time to walk every day and feed the gulls. Jeanne brings her brother, Jimmy, with us to the beach as her mother really doesn't find the time to take him. Jimmy really enjoyed the trip to the beach and getting into the water.
We stop in Walt Disney World on the way back to Columbus where I talk Jeanne into standing in front of the Magic Kindom Castle.
