The hot tub & pool are great after a hard day of skiing but it does take a bit of time to reach it and the snow can be falling.

Most of the time when we ski at Snowmass in January, when it is cheaper, there are few people there so the lift lines are very short. You can ride up, ski down and immediately jump on the lift for another run. We always stop in this one on-slope restaurant for lunch at least one during our trip. Although the food is expensive it is good and we enjoy the treat.

The view from the restaurant is great and we can hardly wait to get back out on the slopes again. Jeanne stops long enough so that I can get her picture.

We normally take the bus from Denver to Snowmass/Aspen and on the way back the bus stops to drop off and pick up passengers in Vail. Christmas 1982 is fun as all the clan gets together again.

Can you imagine all the kids sitting still for a photo? And the presents! WOW!
