We are very fortunately to find chipmunks almost everyplace we stop. Guess that is due to campers feeding them or leaving food on the picnic tables (we have been guilty of this). It is always nice to get back to the camper and relax a bit. But, as always, Sam is on his harness and leash.
Be are back at the Cumberland Falls where we went last year to meet Larry, Janet, and family for an over night. It is really a nice place and going there gave us a good test of the camper on a long trip. It was working fine.
There are many trails one can take, most of which are not that hard of a walk. Many give excellent view of the falls from far away.
Even Sam goes walking on the trails. Sometimes he will get just so far and then lay down and refuse to go any farther. In that case there is nothing to do but pick him up and take turns carrying him back to the camper.
Speaking of a "shake down cruise" for the camper, Sam has found a really neat place to sleep, one of the overhead cabinets. The next "shake down cruise" is north to Fall Creek Falls state park in Tennessee. This is really a great state park. The falls, the trails, the golf course, it has it all as you can see by the map on the right.
The falls are quite nice and there are many great spots for taking photographs. This is one falls that you do not get down to the very bottom - unless you wish to go wading and who knows how deep the water is there.
