JEANNE AND I - BOOK 4, PAGE 1

Snowmass has many, many signboard maps, usually at the top of a lift. But most people care a free small map to see where to go next. Again, one of our favoriate ski areas, Big Burn.

This is a view of the Big Burn's left hand runs. All the runs here are excellent and they seem to go from fairly easy to hard from your left to right as you face down the mountain.

Sam has his own basket by Jeanne's Apple II computer that he sleeps in. Almost every day we could find him here. Sam really didn't think much of the toy cat we got for him but we liked it.

Sam does like to watch TV especially if we put in his "bird tape" that we made for him. Chris, my only son, stopped in to see us. Always a pleasure as he is in college in Tallahassee now.

Cumberland Falls again. What a great state park. Everyone should visit it if they can. Some nights, when the moon is out and very bright, there is a "moonbow" which is difficult to photograph.

This rock formation reminds me of a "dog's face". You can always tell a nuthatch as it will climb down a tree head first, one of the few birds that will do that.
