Jeanne and I were married in 1979. We meet through her Christian Date Club and have enjoyed our life together these many years.
Jeannie was my third wife, and definitely the best! . You can read about my marriages HERE.
Perhaps our best times together have been since I retired in June, 1991 and the following year when we traveled throughout the USA in our 27' motor home. You can see some of the 1,000+ photographs that Jeanne took during the 12 months on the road at RV TRIP
We both enjoy golfing and belong to two golf courses in the Anderson, South Carolina, area, Southern Oaks Golf Course, Easley and Boscobel, Pendleton.
Jeanne entered and finished the 1st Bank One Marathon in Columbus, Ohio.
Jeanne's hobby is sewing and she has several machines, including an embroidery machine, which has is one of the most advanced today. She designs her embroideries on her computer and then transfers them to the embroidery machine. Jeanne had her own web site which has been removed.
Jeanne and I were both married and divorced before we meet. We both have children by our previous marriages, she with two boys and a girl and me with a boy. All are grown and living in Ohio, South Carolina, Arizona, and Florida. Jeanne's scrapbook contains many photos of us together with her children and mine and her grandchildren.
2007 was definitely not a good year. Jeanne got sick late in 2006 and was admitted to AnMed, our excellent hospital, in January, 2007. She had been under going chemotherapy since her colon surgery late in 2006. She had developed problems with her energy and breathing which we found out was due to blood clots in the artery leading to her right lung. It was a great shock to me and all of her family when we were told 28 days after she entered the hospital that there was no hope for her recovery as there just was too much damage to her lungs. Jeanne passed away February 8, 2007 and everyone who knew her will miss her greatly. |
