The Christian Date Club 1st Anniversary party at Blacklick Woods was enjoyed by all who attended. And everyone had all the food they could eat, including the cake.
Jeanne and I visited East Lansing to see my parents and while there we spent some time with Jim, his family, and his daughter, Beth. We had my dad take a photo of us before we left to drive back to Columbus.
Jim and three of his boys stop by to see us. Later, back in Columbus both Jeanne and I ran in a 5K race in Worthington.
Jeanne and I along with most of her kids and their families enjoy another wedding cake with us in Columbus.
Jeanne enjoyed bike riding so I took it up. With a new bike for me, we went on a trip to Amish country just to the northwest of Columbus.
We had to be careful when riding near the Amish and their buggies as they are, naturally, slow, and car tend to crowd over to the other side of the road where we could be riding. The best things about riding in Amish country are the places to stop for a break, such as for lunch and snacks!
